Jupiter Petrotec Products processes, supplies and exports an expansive range of Jupitol brand automotive, industrial and specialty lubricants — performance chemicals, surface coating oils, greases, brake fluids and radiator coolants used across industry, and above all by the automotive trade.

Established in 2001 and originally based in Chennai, the company now operates from its own plant at SIDCO Industrial Estate, Kakkalur, Thiruvallur District. The facility is built for lubricant blending end to end — formulating, blending, filling and marketing under one roof. We are a registered organisation holding the requisite statutory approvals and clearances, and we hold to eco-friendly practice and the pollution control norms laid down by the Government.

Alongside the Jupitol range we blend in bulk on a job-work basis — viscosity index improvers, sugar mill roll oils, process oils, rust preventives, metal working fluids and rubber process oils — for companies including Caltex, Tide Water and Ilda Labs. Every formulation and specification entrusted to us in that arrangement is held in strict confidence.

The company has grown under the guidance of its promoter and mentor, Mr. Chandra Sekaran, whose experience has helped it establish itself across the Indian subcontinent.

Our infrastructure

Our facility is equipped with the machinery needed to formulate and process the full range properly, and it is upgraded as the technology moves on. Work is separated into departments so each stage runs efficiently, and the site is well connected to national and international markets by road, sea and air.

Warehousing and packaging

A capacious, well-maintained warehouse in Chennai holds raw material, base oils and finished goods in separate, clearly categorised sections under round-the-clock supervision. Ample ullage and ready stock let us store, retrieve and deliver reliably, and meet bulk or urgent requirements. Customised packaging is available on request.

Quality assurance

Quality is the first priority. The range is made to comply with the relevant industry standards and to suit the specific application it is sold for. Every stage — from procurement of raw material through processing to final packing — is supervised by experienced staff, and our testing laboratory checks each batch against well-defined parameters:
